Maracajaú - Rio Grande do Norte - Brazil

When the dream of a holiday home on the other side of the world turns into reality

A day trip by car from Maracajaú should first time go to the north, for it is both exciting and very different than driving to Natal. You

should be aware of whether there is petrol in the car, the first station is in Touros and alternatively you must drive 25 km back towards

Maxaranguape where the tank is located in BR101 junction. In a car it can be difficult after rain, or rather impossible, to get to the small

towns Pititinga and Zumbi. Touros is however a major city with many opportunities to shop, eat and raise money.

São Miguel do Gostoso

If one you after Touros go to the left onto RN-221, then

you the next 30 KM come through some small villages,

which, because of the road condition, you can’t fail to enjoy during slow driving. Out of the blue comes then suddenly São Miguel do Gostoso, a holiday village filled with small restaurants and Pousadas. Immediately you do not believe that so far from the main road is a "big" and very attractive holiday village located. One sign after another with eateries, tells you that there must be many people coming here. Gostoso has also some very beautiful beaches and its own tourist brochure in English so does not cheat you of this experience, even it’s a little expensive.
